Cruise on Bosphorus
One of the best way to see and explore Istanbul is by taking a boat trip. The Bosphorus divides Istanbul into two continents (Asia and Europe) and also connects the Marmara sea to the Black sea. You have two options for a cruise
Option 1 : Half Day Bosphorus Tour ( Morning & Afternoon options )
You will have some free time to explore the Spice Market by yourself before we visit the Rustern Pasa Mosque. The Rustem Pasa Mosque which was built by the Ottomans is famous for its Iznik tiles. Then we will catch a boat for our Bosphorus Tour. The boat tour will be 1.5 hours long. While the boat moves betweeen Asia and Europe you will be charmed by Ottomon Houses, Bridges, the Maiden’s Tower, Ortakoy and Buyuk Mecidiye Mosque, Ciragan Palace, Dolmabahce Palace, Beylerbeyi Palace, Kuleli Naval Academy, Rumeli and Anadolu Fortresses … From the second bridge we will turn back to Golden Horn and end of the tour.
Option 2 : Full Day Bosphorus Tour with Dolmabahce Palace & Pera
You will have some free time to explore the Spice Market by yourself before we visit the Rustern Pasa Mosque. The Rustern Pasa Mosque which was built by the Ottomans is famous for its Iznik tiles. Then we will catch a boat for our Bosphorus Tour. The boat tour will be 1.5 hours long. While the boat moves betweeen Asia and Europe you will be charmed by Ottoman Houses, Bridges, the Maiden’s Tower, Ortakoy and Buyuk Mecidiye Mosque, Ciragan Palace, Dolmabahce Palace, Beylerbeyi Palace, Kuleli Naval Academy, Rumeli and Anadolu Fortresses … From the second bridge we will turn back to Golden Horn and a lunch break.
After lunch, Our next destination will be the Dolmabahce Palace the last residence for Ottoman Sultans with 365 rooms and 22 saloons. Famous with the great collection of European antiquity, furniture and 4.5 tons chandelier. We will then catch a funicular up to Taksim, also known as Pera and is one of the main centres of Istanbul. Walking down Istiklal Street, the main street in Taksim, you will feel like you are walking down a European Street, with many famous clothing shops, such as mango and topshop as well as a number of Starbucks and more than 3,000 street cafes, pubs and restaurants. Taksim is almost the best place to experience the nightlife of Istanbul. We will then walk to Karakoy where we will cross the Galata Bridge, where you can see locals fishing and finish the tour in Eminonu.
The tour ends with your return to the hotel.
