Depending to your time table we can organize you a special tour which will start with a greeting at the airport by our drivers carrying a sign bearing your name on it and drive you first to the old town to meet your guide. Our walking tour will start from the Old City of Istanbul with a chance to see Blue Mosque, St. Sophia, Underground Cistern or even Grand Bazaar. Our walk will continue to the New City part of Istanbul also known as Pera where you will have the opportunity of tasting delightful Turkish Coffee or Tea and finish this great tour with a typical Turkish Dinner at a local restaurant. By the end of the tour your guide will take you to our van and you will be taken either to your hotel or to the airport for your connecting flight.
All passengers on Layover tours are required to have a visa for Turkey that you can easily purchase online from : www.evisa.gov.tr/en/ web page in simple 3 steps.
Please also note that on connection flights your luggage will be checked in all the way to your main destination so you will not be carrying your bags during the tour however if you have to collect your bags our vehicle will have enough space to keep your bags safe during our tours.

Turkish Show with Dinner
Pick up from the hotel or cruise ship port. Take a scenic night drive to the restaurant, where you will enjoy an evening with a delicious full course meal of fine Turkish cuisine featuring class acts of music and dance in traditional surroundings. This feast for the senses is presented in an oriental atmosphere, where you can discover the delights of Turkish musical instruments, a typical folk orchestra and experience a dance extravaganza focusing on the traditions of Turkish and Anatolian folklore including belly dancing. Dervish Show in İstanbul
Known to the west as Whirling Dervishes, the Mevlevi Order was founded by Mevlana Rumi in the 13th century. The Order wrote of tolerance, forgiveness, and enlightenment. They survive today as a cultural brotherhood. They are not theatrical spectacles but sacred rituals. The ritual of the Mevlevi sect, known as the sema, is a serious religious ritual performed by Muslim priests in a prayer trance to Allah. Mevlevi believed that during the sema the soul was released from earthly ties, and able to freely and jubilantly commune with the divine. Dervish literally means “doorway” and is thought to be an entrance from this material world to the spiritual, heavenly world. The Whirling Dervishes played an important part in the evolution of Ottoman high culture.
From the fourteenth to the twentieth century, their impact on classical poetry, calligraphy and visual arts was profound. Rumi and his followers integrated music into their rituals as an article of faith. Rumi emphasized that music uplifts our spirit to realms above, and we hear the tunes of the Gates of Paradise
